Michael P. Warren II - Founder Biography

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in a close-knit community where resilience, faith, and accountability shaped daily life. As the child of an interracial couple and one of four siblings, I was exposed early to different perspectives and experiences. That environment taught me the value of connection, empathy, and seeing issues from more than one angle.

From a young age, I was curious about how things work; whether in science, sports, or the dynamics between people. I naturally became a tinkerer. I like to take things apart, understand their core parts, and rebuild them in ways that work better. Swimming and soccer taught me discipline and teamwork. My interest in science and technology sharpened my ability to spot patterns and systems. Over time, that curiosity expanded from mechanical systems to organizational and human ones.

Growth, I learned, is rarely straightforward. It takes reflection, adjustment, and intention. Living at the intersections of identity: a white-passing biracial, neurodivergent, and gay man, strengthened my ability to listen, navigate complexity, and lead with empathy. I began to see empathy not just as a feeling, but as a method for understanding systems and improving them.

That mindset is why I call myself an “Organizational Tinkerer.” I study how people, structures, and culture interact, then look for practical ways to improve alignment and performance. Whether in organizational development, hospitality, real estate, or creative work, my goal is consistent: design environments where people can do their best work and grow with purpose.

The VYRTX Group reflects that philosophy. It was founded on the belief that transformation is ongoing and intentional. Each branch of the organization represents a different expression of that belief, but all are connected by the same commitment: to build systems that support growth, belonging, and long-term excellence.
